Welcome to Sew Historic

Sew Historic specializes in reproducing the uniforms and accoutrements of the Canadian and British enlisted man during the Napoleonic Era, specifically the War of 1812.  Authenticity and accuracy in pattern, tailoring, and materials are the cornerstones of the business.

We use only period correct fabrics,  patterns, notions, and techniques in making up our clothing and equipment.  Wool, linen, hemp, cotton, and silk, along with linen and silk thread come together to make our garments.  You can be assured that your clothing will be made as historically accurate as possible.
